(Kitco News) - Gold prices ended the U.S. day session not far from unchanged in quieter trading Thursday, ahead of Friday’s all-important U.S. employment report from the Labor Department. April gold was last steady at $1,256.90 an ounce. Spot gold was last quoted down $0.30 at $1,257.75. March Comex silver last traded up $0.12 at $19.925 an ounce.
